Comp - Blue Devils

The Alaska Blue Devils program provides a highly competitive full season that develops some of Alaska's best teams in divisions 10U to 18U in the Tier I & II levels for BOTH boys and girls. Competition teams are comprised of players and coaches who have advanced skills and who wish to contribute the time, energy and money necessary to participate in competition play.

Many teams travel in-state and out-of-state to get greater exposure and to develop players. The coaching staff is paid and a goalie coach is on retainer. Our goal is to motivate each and every player to want to learn, work hard, and be the best they can be both on the ice and in life. The Blue Devils participate in yearly fundraising events to cover costs, as well as sponsorships, in an attempt to offset some of the season's costs.

Competition goalies receive private coaching during regular practice frequently each month. This allows for one-on-one instruction and an opportunity to immediately apply concepts with same-aged and skilled players. Once again, MHA is proud to welcome Seawolf alum Chris Kamal, a University of Alaska goaltender posting a 21-38-5 record over four years in net. He has also served as an assistant coach for the Seawolves.
